This experience will give you a chance to cross the mystic waters of Arenal, Costa Rica's largest and most breathtaking lake, while enjoying a spectacular view of the powerful volcano, still active with lava spewing from its peaks daily. You will embark in first class touring kayaks and enjoy a day paddling in
the lake's calm waters while the beauty and energy of this amazing volcano penetrates your soul.

The trip begins with a fifteen minute drive from Fortuna to a secluded dock on the lake's front. After detailed instruction about how to maneuver your personal kayak each person will enter the water. There we will have the chance to paddle in calm water and view tropical birds like toucans, parrots, colorful orioles, shore birds????? Throughout the trip there will be opportunities to swim in this pristinely clean lake and walk around the beaches of small islands. On one of the beaches our guides will prepare tropical fruits for you to enjoy and reenergize your bodies for the return paddle. One of the highlights of this trip is the 360 degree view you have of the Arenal Volcano, Cerro Chato peak, Monteverde Mountains and the line of"Lost Peaks" all from the seat of your kayak. Many of our guests enjoy the relaxed nature of this trip will still soaking in the whole of Costa Rica. The only "disturbance" could be an occasional thunder or roar from Arenal Volcano at your side reminding you of its life. The return trip to Fortuna is fifteen minutes by private bus.
