Golfo Dulce is considered a tropical fjord, where attributes and characteristics of both, coastal and oceanic habitats come together. Itinerary
Snorkeling 8:30 am departure to the snorkeling beach. This day we will ride our Kayaks for about 40 minutes to the area where we will do the snorkeling, we will snorkel for 1 and half hour, then eat some fruit, rest and get ready for the ride back Lunch at Saladero follow by a nature hike al Piedras Blancas National Park
Morning nature walk. Breakfast. Two optional outings for the day according to tides; paddle along the shore and enter the Esquinas River to explore the beautiful mangroves, look for wildlife, this is a special place to find the secretive Mangrove Tree Boa. The group might also choose to paddle along the shore for a few minutes to approach some rocky reefs that are quite interesting for snorkeling. Bioluminescence is also a phenomenon often seen along the shore of this tropical fjord, sunsets are spectacular.
Crossing the Golf and go to Puerto Jimenez Today we will paddle for 10 miles, approximately 3 hours across the Golfo Duce to Playa Blanca. Were our trip will get to the end This will be another good day to have encounters with Dolphins and Sea Snakes
